The Middlesbrough Half Marathon is a chip-timed road race covering 13.1 miles through Middlesbrough, beginning at Centre Square on Albert Road. Held in March and presented by Science in Sport, it features a fast, flat course suitable for those aiming for a personal best and for individuals new to the distance.
The Teesside Family Foundation organizes the event. Participants can join Team TTFF to fundraise for local Teesside residents. Team TTFF registration includes race entry, chip-timed results, a themed medal, a Team TTFF running top, post-run refreshments, and use of the team marquee. The half marathon has a three-hour cutoff due to road closures.
