Mince Pi Run 2026

The Mince Pi Run takes place at Guildford's Shalford Park, allowing participants to select distances ranging from 3.14 miles to 31.4 miles. This off-road event, held in December with a 9:00 am start from the GU4 8AA location, offers 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, ultra, and 3.14-mile lap options. The primary course is largely flat and off-road, featuring one or two inclines. Participants extend their distance by completing one to ten laps. A 1-mile fun run, shaped like the Pi symbol, is available for younger children. For the 3.14-mile loop, juniors have age-specific lap limits: ages 8-11 complete one lap, ages 12-14 complete two, and age 15 completes four. Participants under 12 require adult supervision for the entire run, while those aged 12-15 need an adult present at the start and finish. All finishers receive a custom Pi Pie medal. Contingency routes may be used if conditions necessitate a change. The Shalford Park car park is reserved for football, requiring runners to utilize adjacent parking.
