Mossley 10k 2026

Mossley 10K begins and ends at Mossley AFC's Seel Park ground, offering spectators a place in the stands rather than needing to find spots along the route. This 10K road race takes place in Mossley, Ashton-under-Lyne, starting at 10:00am. Runners must be at least 15 years old. The event has been held annually since 2014, attracting both seasoned club runners and casual participants. The course is undulating, not a flat course for personal bests, guiding runners from Upper Mossley through Lower Mossley and Greenfield. The route runs near the countryside of Mossley and Saddleworth, providing a hillier, Pennine-edge character compared to many urban 10K races. Runners affiliated with UK Athletics receive a reduced entry fee compared to unaffiliated runners. A race T-shirt can be purchased separately.
