MTC Bodach 2027

The MTC Bodach is a point-to-point ultra in County Donegal, Ireland, held in May as part of the Mount to Coast MizMal programme. The race follows a segment of the MizMal route; one listing states it is approximately 37.4 miles, another says 38 miles, and a separate listing identifies the Bodach as a 53-mile ultra. This is not a large-field road race: entry is restricted to 20 race-only participants, with room for an additional 20 MizMal runners, capping the total field at 40 individuals. The course begins at the Villa Rose Hotel and Spa and concludes at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel. The Bodach is situated on Day 13 of the fourteen-day MizMal end-to-end Ireland series, with one description noting it as the concluding day of that challenge.
