Rasselbock Run - Winter offers participants six hours on a loop within Sherwood Pines, a Forestry Commission forest located in Nottinghamshire. The format is straightforward: continue running laps until the allotted time expires, or cease after a single lap and still be recognized as a finisher. All finishers receive a custom medal, featuring a new design for this winter edition.
The event spans a full weekend, with a Saturday race and the same loop run in reverse on Sunday. Participants may enter for a single day or register for both at a reduced price. As Sherwood Pines is an active forest, timber harvesting operations may necessitate route adjustments. However, any modified course is designed to maintain proximity to the original in terms of length and character, with specifics communicated prior to race day.
