Southend Rudolph Run 2026

The Southend Rudolph Run is a 5-mile race in Southend-on-Sea, run on a flat, fast route along the promenade. The main race starts in the morning, with a 1-mile Children's Rudolf Scurry earlier in the day, allowing families to attend both as part of the same outing. Nice Work organizes the event, and the course uses tarmac paths and promenade surfaces on an exactly measured route. This is a Christmas race as much as a running event: Santa hats and festive outfits are part of the scene, with prizes for the best Christmas attire. Experienced runners use the flat course for a quick December effort, while beginners and novices get a friendly, straightforward route by the seafront.
