The Sunderland 10K November is a 10K road race held on the Roker seafront, beginning at Roker Beach and taking place in late November. Organised by RunThrough, it features a fast, flat out-and-back course on smooth tarmac paths, suitable for runners aiming for a personal best or those seeking a coastal 10K.
The course follows the promenade alongside Roker Seafront before concluding with a lap of historic Roker Park. The event benefits Children’s Cancer North and is part of Sunderland’s running community. The City 10K, which originated from this event, expanded from just over 1,500 participants in its first year to approximately 5,000, with associated events including a half marathon, a 3K, and a Saturday evening 5K across the Keel Crossing footbridge.
