T'was The Run Before Christmas 2026

T'was The Run Before Christmas is a festive running event at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, serving as the season's second Christmas-themed run. Now in its sixth edition, it accommodates runners of all abilities, offering distance options from 5K and 10K up to 15K, half marathon, heavy half marathon, marathon, and ultra marathon. The course utilizes a 5.3K loop within Thetford Forest, set in a largely self-contained area with exclusive use of the main event space. The format offers flexibility: 9 am starters have six hours, 11 am starters have four hours, the standard heavy half is five laps, and runners may select six or seven laps on the day; the standard ultra is nine laps.
