The Crossing of Dartmoor 2026

The Crossing of Dartmoor is a 33.5-mile ultramarathon across Dartmoor, starting in Belstone on the northern side of the moor and finishing in Ivybridge on the southern edge. It was the first ultramarathon created by OuterEdge, marking the beginning of that organiser’s longer-distance race history. The race is a point-to-point crossing, with runners moving from North Dartmoor toward the town of Ivybridge. The original course was slightly longer at 34 miles, but the route has since been adjusted to the current 33.5 miles.
