The Hardwick Hobble - Winter is a six-hour looped running event held on the Hardwick Hall estate in Derbyshire. The course covers 6.03 km around the grounds of a National Trust property, with the stately hall serving as the primary landmark. Participants may complete as many laps as possible within the time limit, or finish after a single lap and still be counted as finishers.
The field is intentionally limited to 150 runners, fostering an atmosphere more akin to a club gathering than a large-scale race. This format appeals to those aiming for distance, individuals testing themselves over one loop, and runners who prefer low-pressure events with consistent support. All finishers are awarded a unique medal. This winter event marks the first day of a two-day Hardwick Hobble weekend.
