The Tibthorpe Loop is a half marathon on a small trail in the Yorkshire Wolds, beginning and ending at Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe, Driffield. Capped at 300 participants, it is a local, understated countryside event rather than a large urban half marathon. The path is rolling but not difficult, with a five-hour time limit allowing ample time for steady runners and walkers to complete it.
Participants navigate a marked route using a supplied GPX file, additional course markers, and prominent yellow signs at key intersections. A single checkpoint offers vegan and gluten-free food options, alongside on-course first aid. The start and finish area provides practical amenities: restrooms, complimentary parking, indoor bicycle storage, and reduced-price camping. Those finishing get a wildflower seed medal, chip timing, event pictures, and a downloadable certificate. The organiser plants a tree for the event and contributes a portion of each entry fee to local charities.
