South Shields Beach serves as the starting point, with the run extending onto South Tyneside’s coastal trails before returning to a beach festival finish. The first Tidal Trails event offers a relaxed atmosphere suitable for club members and families, centered on the concept that “sun, sand and family fun combine.” While it is a trail run, the primary focus is the shoreline, the Event Village, and families enjoying the afternoon. Participants can anticipate grass trails, sea air, and sufficient running to justify the food voucher available post-race.
