Unicorn New Years Day Run

The Unicorn New Years Day Run begins and ends at The Unicorn Inn in Little Dawley, Telford, starting at 9:00 am on New Year's Day. This low-key road/trail event offers three distance options: 8 miles, a 16-mile metric marathon, and a full marathon. The route follows the Ironbridge Loop, connecting the race to the Telford and Shropshire area instead of a closed-city course. Organized by Paul Kalinauckas, the pub location provides a straightforward post-race tradition: runners receive a lucky dip medal and a beer upon finishing.
