Rostallo and the Eco-conscious Education Centre serve as the hub, with the Zemplen hills providing the natural setting. The IV. Kokapu Trail is a trail-running and hiking day, not a polished road-race production, organized around named forest valleys, springs, ridges, and old junctions: Ordog-volgy, Kokapu, Szaraz-kuti-volgy, Nagy-Gereben, Dzedo-volgy, Fekete-hegy, and beyond. The event's stated aim is to introduce runners to the Zemplen and Hegykoz area, which fits the nature of the event.
The shorter children's routes start from RONK, heading towards Ordog-volgy before turning back. The adult routes venture deeper, passing through locations such as Derfoldi spring, Nagy-Terem-ko, Bartucz-fa, Tomko memorial, Saru-ko, Lókosar, O-Gonci-kapu, Hollo-ret, Roka-berc, and Vajda-volgy. The terrain is described as proper trail, with sufficient climbing to be a factor but without excessive formality. Both confirmed runners and amateurs participate, and walkers can choose the Vadmacska and Hiuz routes, with the finish returning to the race centre.
