Starting at Szépjuhászné, near the Children's Railway station, the route immediately begins with an ascent into the hills. The longer loop follows Csacsi-rét, Piktortégla, the ridges of Frank-hegy, Farkas-völgy, Széchenyi-hegy, Normafa, and János-hegy within the Buda Hills. This setup feels more like a day hike on marked trails than a formal race.
The course features the named hills and valleys prominently. The shorter option includes Csacsi-rét, Normafa, and János-hegy before looping back to Szépjuhászné. The event welcomes families, with free entry for children under 6, and for hearing and visually impaired participants and their companions, creating an accessible atmosphere. While there is no strict time limit, the finish closes at 16:00, a practical arrangement for trail runners.
