The race base is located in the scenic park of the Teleki-Tisza Castle in Nagykovacsi, surrounded by the Buda Hills. Versenykiírás Félmaraton 62 km offers a family-friendly atmosphere in the Buda Hills, but remains a challenging trail event. Children have their own race, while experienced runners can choose the longer mountain course. Underfoot, the course consists entirely of trails, with no road sections. Runners will encounter rolling hills and steady climbs. The finish is marked by a unique local feature: the final stretch utilizes the "legendary Crosskovacsi Ring Mountain Bike XC downhill track." This section should provide an energetic and technical conclusion, more engaging than a typical flat asphalt finish.
