Tisza-tó defines this ultra: a loop around water, reeds, open sky, and protected shore country, beginning at the Morotva cycling rest park. By its seventh edition, VII. Ultra Tisza-tó 130 felt like a serious counterpart to Ultrabalaton, on a slightly smaller circuit, within what the organizers describe as a “wonderful and untouched environment.” This is not a casual jog with a scenic backdrop. Participants run solo, share the distance in teams, or cycle alongside, giving the course the atmosphere of a moving camp that ultras develop when support crews and weary runners encounter each other throughout the day and night. Finishing within the time limit earns a tangible reward: a distinctive finisher medal, with solo finishers also receiving a personalized finish ribbon.
