7. Karácsonyi Ronda Pulcsis Futás

Városliget provides the setting for the 7th Ugly Christmas Sweater Run. Participants assemble near the Múzeum Mélygarázs and Promenád D entrance before starting their run past the Millennium House and Rose Garden. The atmosphere is intentionally playful and good-natured: "take the ugly sweaters out of the closet," wear your most garish, unsightly, or amusing Christmas top, and run for a charitable cause instead of a personal best. The Városliget course circles the running path twice. In contrast, the Debrecen route starts at Baltazár Dezső tér and proceeds through Hunyadi, Rákóczi, Burgundia, Kossuth, Piac, Fővásártér, and Múzeum streets, passing the Advent market. This event accommodates children, families, adults, and those with limited mobility, as it can be completed by sprinting, jogging, or walking. A notable tradition involves bringing a gift package or warm children's clothing for children in need.
