StraLugano is a running series in Lugano offering various distances: a 3 km charity run, a 5 km FunRun, a 10 km CityRun, a half marathon, a half-marathon relay, a KidsRun, and a steep mountain option. The 5 km race is fast and straight, suitable for those new to official races or seeking a short, quick run. The Monte Bre Run is the most challenging course, a 9 km climb with approximately 730 m of elevation gain to Lugano's summit. The 10 km CityRun features team standings for sports groups, clubs, and associations, with awards for the top team and the largest participating group. Runners aiming for a more demanding challenge can enter the StraCombinata, linking the 10 km CityRun with the Monte Bre Run. Families and casual participants can opt for the KidsRun and the 3 km Run4Charity.
