Eroica Montalcino 2026

Eroica Montalcino is a vintage cycling event on Tuscany's white gravel roads, based around Montalcino in the area used by the 209 km L'Eroica route. It runs south of Siena, between the Val d'Arbia, the Crete Senesi, and the Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape since 2004. The shorter routes make this version of Eroica more approachable than the long classic. Passeggiata Eroica is 36 km with 747 meters of climbing, one aid station, and a morning start window; it is aimed at families with children and gives riders a taste of Brunello country. The Percorso del Brunello is 46 km and suits riders who want the white-road atmosphere without taking on the harder routes.
