Granfondo del Mugello "La Via del Latte"

Granfondo del Mugello "La Via del Latte" is a cycling event held in Tuscany's Mugello region, organized by ASD Mugello Toscana Bike and taking place on a Sunday in June. Participants can select from three road courses and three new gravel courses, accommodating both traditional granfondo bicycles and those seeking unpaved segments. Each course includes an additional 5 km lap of the Autodromo, adding a unique race-circuit element to the day's countryside cycling. The climbs featured are characteristic of the Mugello area: Panna, Passo della Futa, Passo del Giogo, Passo del Paretaio, Passo della Sambuca, and Prato all'Albero are all part of the route descriptions. Only two sections are timed, from Galliano to Panna and on Passo della Sambuca, providing distinct competitive segments without making the entire event a start-to-finish race. The organizers provide past rankings, list partner accommodations, camper zones, campsites, and bicycle rentals, and also direct visitors to Mugello's culinary offerings, hiking paths, mountain-bike routes, and local points of interest surrounding the ride.
