Gravel & Wine

Gravel & Wine is a California gravel bike race series with stops in wine country at Temecula, Paso Robles, and Warner Springs. It begins the season in Temecula, proceeds through Paso Robles, and concludes on the back-country gravel near Warner Springs. Each event provides multiple distances, accommodating first-time gravel riders, experienced amateurs, and pros seeking a competitive effort. The organizers refer to it as “The Peoples Race,” aligning with its structure: categories include Women, Men, Gender Diverse, and Youth 18U, with this structure applied consistently across the series. The atmosphere is more relaxed and social than formal road races, with the event characterized as a “Gravel Party in Wine Country.” The most notable course feature is the Warner Springs finish, which transitions the series to rougher back-country gravel beyond vineyard-area routes.
