The 10 km di Marengo is a flat 10 km road race held in Spinetta Marengo, near Alessandria in Piedmont. The start and finish lines are at the Bellavita Water Park and Wellness Center. Runners gather in the morning, with the race beginning at 10:00. A 5 km option is also available, catering to those aiming for a certified 10 km time and faster runners seeking a shorter challenge.
The course is entirely on road, FIDAL-certified, and homologated, designed for speed. Organizers refer to it as the “Marengo Speedway.” The 5 km race serves as the Piedmontese FIDAL regional championship for individuals and clubs, while the 10 km is part of the national FIDAL calendar. The Marengo location connects to local history, being linked to Napoleon’s Battle of Marengo. Post-race amenities include showers and changing rooms at Bellavita.
