Marathon dell’Altopiano

The Marathon dell'Altopiano, an International UCI mountain bike race, is held at the Centro Fondo Enego Marcesina in Enego, Vicenza. Now in its seventh edition, the event attracts over 500 registered riders. The Centro Fondo provides a practical headquarters for participants and staff, and has allowed for new course routes. The course crosses the mountain-bike terrain of the Marcesina area, including the Piana di Marcesina. This high plain, featuring natural landscapes and local history, was affected by Storm Vaia but has since recovered to once again contribute to the race's draw. The setting appeals to riders seeking a true off-road marathon, with specialists competing on UCI-level terrain.
