Montepulciano Run is a three-day running series held in Montepulciano, province of Siena, Italy, during early October. It combines competitive races with non-competitive walks, catering to club runners, casual runners, walkers, children, and companions seeking a relaxed pace. The schedule features the competitive Lumediluna Urbantrail (6.6 km), La Nobile Corta, and La Nobile Lunga, alongside non-competitive options like Lumediluna, Nobilipassi, the Mini Montepulciarun for children, Nordic Walking (17 km), and Montepulcian Onfoot (17 km).
The routes through Montepulciano and the surrounding Tuscan countryside, featuring vineyards, olive groves, and hills near the Val d'Orcia, are a primary attraction. The town's historic center offers Renaissance streets and historic stone buildings, while the countryside includes wine estates and farm roads. Now in its third edition, the event incorporates Montepulciano's wine culture alongside its running focus. Participants can also include winery visits, exploring architecturally notable cellars and countryside estates, with organizers providing tourist packages for runners and their guests.
