The Traversata del Lago di Pusiano is an open-water swim across Lake Pusiano in northern Italy, held on a Saturday in June. Swimmers choose from three distances: 500 meters, 1,200 meters, and 2,400 meters, accommodating both first-time lake swimmers and those seeking a longer crossing. US Bosisio organizes the race, building on its local sports history in Bosisio Parini since 1972. The 500-meter option, added recently, has become popular among open-water swimmers and provides a clear entry point for athletes with disabilities, some of whom use that distance while others attempt longer races.
