The Ultner Höfelauf, also known as Corsa dei Masi, is a running event held in Val d'Ultimo, South Tyrol, that centers on the valley's historic farmsteads. The event welcomes a wide range of participants, including children, teenagers, adults, seniors, locals, visitors, beginners, trained athletes, hikers, and Nordic walkers. The main race options are an 8.4 km Volkslauf and a classic route of approximately 17.9 km. A shorter 1 km course is available in Pracupola for the youngest runners.
The course traces the “path of the farmhouses,” winding past characteristic Alpine farms and homes throughout the valley. The shorter race covers the distance from Pracupola to San Nicolo and back. The classic route extends from Pracupola to Santa Gertrude before returning via the opposite side of the valley. This event was established to unite running with local culture, cuisine, and the valley's landscape; following the races, the area transforms into a food zone featuring various stands.
