V^ Stracollina Trail

Stracollina Trail is a 16 km trail race in Mottola, in Puglia, run in December as the closing round of the regional Pugliatrail circuit. It is organized by A.S.D. Correre e Salute Mottola, with FIDAL oversight and support from the Municipality of Mottola, so it sits inside the formal Italian athletics structure rather than being only a local fun run. The race matters because it is the final stop after Pugliatrail has moved across the region from Salento to the Murge, with earlier rounds using terrain such as ancient olive groves, rocky paths, Murgia routes, and old roads. In Mottola, runners face natural trails over a short but decisive distance, and the results settle both individual and team standings for the circuit.
