XVI^ Maratonella di Campalto

The Maratonella di Campalto is a 30 km competitive trail race held in Campalto, on the mainland side of Venice, near the city. It takes place in early October, utilizing the lagoon edge for its course instead of the streets and canals typically associated with Venice. The event also offers non-competitive runners and walkers shorter routes: 6 km Family Fun, 10 km, and 15 km Ludico Motoria, all sharing the same race-day atmosphere. The main course is locally known as the race of three parks, three bridges, three woods, and three forts, offering a clearer description than a standard road-race label. Runners navigate through parks and wooded areas near Campalto. The event features a Villaggio Expo, maintains a roll of honor for past editions, and presents named prizes like the Trofeo Marco Cavaldoro and Coppa Rosa.
