The Tobishima Kaido Triathlon takes place at Kenmin no Hama in Hiroshima Prefecture in late June. It follows the Olympic-distance format: a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike ride, and 10 km run. Timing typically concludes for participants finishing after 12:30 p.m. The event limits participants to 300 individuals and 20 relay teams, making it a small, local triathlon. Entrants must be adults; high school students are not eligible. Participants should have trained for the bike and run segments and be confident in their ability to finish. The entry fee covers a certificate of completion, lunch, a race T-shirt, and insurance.
