3Bergenloop

The 3Bergenloop is a local trail-leaning road race in Driebergen-Rijsenburg, Utrecht, with routes through woods and estates around the Grote Bos and Hoog Moersbergen. Runners can choose 6 km, 10 km, or a half marathon, and the event includes kids runs of 750 m and 1.5 km for younger age groups. Each main distance is a single loop, mostly on unpaved paths, cycle paths, and bridle paths, giving it the feel of a forest run rather than a flat city race. The half marathon covers the Bornia, Heidestein, and Hoog Moersbergen estates. The 10 km uses Hoog Moersbergen and returns through the Mollebos to the Grote Bos. The 6 km reaches the open field behind the Grote Bos before returning through the Mollebos. The 10 km and half marathon routes were adjusted because runners can no longer cross Stameren, and the newer versions have one less uphill climb. The finish is simple: timing, drinks, no medals, and a tidy setup with a local feel. The race supports Utrechts Landschap. Organizers provide route maps, GPX files, aid stations, changing rooms, parking, route guidance, and medical support.
