AVA Zorg en Zekerheid Westeinderloop

The AVA Zorg en Zekerheid Westeinderloop is a road race held at Sportpark Calslagen in Kudelstaart. The start and finish are located at RKDES on Wim Kan Dreef. This race takes place in November and includes multiple distances: a kidsrun, a G-run, 5 km, 10 km, and 10 English Miles (16.1 km). Atletiekvereniging Aalsmeer organizes the event with RKDES and the Zorg en Zekerheid Circuit, and it is affiliated with the Atletiekunie. The shorter races are situated near the sports park, with youth and G-runners utilizing the adjacent inline skating track. The 5 km route encircles Kudelstaart and follows the Westeinder water. The 10 km and 10 English Mile courses traverse rural roads and paths near Westeind. The race resumed after a six-year hiatus, with the revised format providing organizers increased capacity and the sports park offering practical amenities such as parking, changing facilities, showers, first aid, AEDs, massage, and a supervised cloakroom.
