Bierrun Groningen

Bierrun Groningen is an 8 km social run through Groningen, Netherlands, held in October. The route connects four local breweries and beer spots, with stops for Groningen specialty beer. It is intentionally kept small, capped at 200 participants, and run collectively rather than timed. The course winds through the city center, featuring five small tastings of local beer, making the running only part of the event. The format accommodates experienced runners, beginners, and those seeking a relaxed group outing. Participants receive a souvenir and a medal. The event debuted in a prior October and has since returned with a new Groningen city route.
