Bornsche Maten Loop

The Bornsche Maten Loop is a June running event held at Beekpark in Borne, with the route going around the Bornsche Maten neighborhood. Participants can select from three distances: a 1.2 km children's run, 5 km, or 10.1 km. Frame runners are welcome in all parts of the program. The course alternates between paved sections and gravel paths, offering varied terrain compared to a standard road loop. The event originated with six local residents who are also dedicated runners. It has expanded from its initial running to attract over 800 participants, with a maximum capacity of 1,000. The format has remained largely consistent as it is effective. One anniversary edition featured an optional special Craft running shirt for those competing.
