De Onderlingen Oliebollenloop 2026

The De Onderlingen Oliebollenloop runs through Schoonhoven on New Year's Eve, with an oliebol waiting after the finish. This winter road race in the Netherlands offers four distances: a 2 km Kidsrun, 6.4 km, 10 km, and 15 km. The shorter races start late morning, while the 10 km and 15 km begin around midday. All participants must register online beforehand; no race day sign-ups are available. The course follows traffic-calmed roads around Schoonhoven and the Green Heart, the open Dutch region of towns, fields, and waterways situated between the major western cities. Start numbers are collected at Schoonhovens College, with the start and finish located on Opweg nearby. The event is affiliated with the Atletiekunie, provides every participant with a medal, and maintains its New Year's Eve character simply: run first, then conclude the year with a Dutch doughnut in the school canteen.
