The Driedorpenloop begins and ends at Sporthal De Fuik in Kortenhoef, located in the North Holland municipality of Wijdemeren. This road-running event takes place on the first Sunday in June. It includes a KidsRun and longer races, typically ranging from 5 km laps up to 20 km. The youngest participants have a 1 km KidsRun suitable for ages 4 to 12. For the longer distances, the minimum age is 12 for the 5 km race and 18 for the 20 km race.
The route follows traffic-calmed roads and cycle paths through the three villages, with organizers aiming to keep runners off busy public roads whenever feasible. Water stations and music are provided along the course, and timing is managed using an Ipico chip attached to the runner's shoelaces. The race passes by the Skinbar Driedorpenloop. Organizers state it is the largest sporting event in Wijdemeren, reflecting its inclusive nature: local children, novice runners, and adults completing multiple laps all utilize the same start-and-finish area at De Fuik.
