Eiberrun begins and ends on De Brink in Eibergen, transforming the village square into the central point for participants and observers. This road running event offers 5 km and 10 km distances for adults, alongside shorter races for children and athletes with disabilities. The 5 km and 10 km races also feature a Business Run, allowing colleagues to compete as teams instead of solely as individuals. ASV Eibergen organizes the event, which is affiliated with the Atletiekunie, the Dutch athletics federation.
The primary routes traverse the village and extend into the Mallumse countryside; the 10 km consists of two circuits of the 5 km course. Younger participants have multiple distinct options, including 750 m and 1.5 km races, plus an approximate 100 m Urban Fun Run that winds through shops and over obstacles within the village. The event accommodates youth runners, G-athletes, Framerunners, recreational runners, and business teams, with a cap of 1,250 participants. Practical amenities such as parking, first aid, and massages are provided, reflecting the event's blend of a local race day and a community sports gathering.
