The Eldense Dorpsloop starts and finishes at Molen de Hoop in Elden, a village in Arnhem-Zuid, Gelderland. This paved village road race takes place on a summer Saturday, offering short distances from 0.6 km to 5 km suitable for children, teenagers, and adults.
The routes wind through Elden’s streets and green spaces. Longer distances pass Molenweg, Rijksweg West, Drielsedijk, and Park Westerveld. The youngest participants have a 0.6 km run, older children can opt for 1.2 km or 2.5 km, and the 5 km is open to those aged 13 and up. A parent can accompany a child for free in the shorter races, emphasizing its role as a local family event rather than a competitive-only fixture. Stichting Evenementen Elden organizes the race, with parking available at De Brink, a short walk from the start.
