Ermelose MTB Herfsttocht

The Ermelose MTB Herfsttocht is an autumn mountain bike tour starting from Muzenhof on Leuvenumseweg in Ermelo, Gelderland. Participants can choose between 30, 45, 60, and 100 kilometer routes. Organized by the Veluwse Wieler Vereniging, the event takes place in the Veluwe forests near Ermelo. The 100 km option is known as the traditional Veluws Taaiste, a 100 km MTB marathon. Shorter routes commence after 09:00, with the 100 km riders departing earlier. The course is primarily off-road, crossing Veluwe woodland and heath. It features rolling terrain and over 1000 meters of climbing on the more challenging routes. Recent events have attracted over 1000 participants, including cyclists from throughout the Netherlands and a regular group of youth riders from Pijnacker. The NTFU has awarded the event a rating of “extra goed verzorgd.” VWV members participate for free, and NTFU members receive discounted entry fees.
