Finance Run

The Finance Run begins and concludes at Restaurant de Bosbaan in the Amsterdamse Bos. Participants from the financial services sector use the day for both competition and informal industry networking. The event, held annually at the Bosbaan in Amsterdam, features 5K, 10K, and half-marathon races, alongside a 5K walk. This allows for teams comprising dedicated runners, recreational joggers, and colleagues who prefer walking. Over 1,500 finance professionals participate each year, establishing it as a significant sector gathering and a sporting occasion. The route winds through the Amsterdamse Bos, providing a natural backdrop distinct from typical office environments. Attendees primarily consist of colleagues, clients, and peers within financial services. The day extends beyond the race with a catered meal and beverages. Fundraising is integral to the event, with proceeds benefiting KiKiD and Eurowijs. These foundations focus on youth engagement and financial independence. Eurowijs develops educational resources for future financial literacy, while KiKiD addresses issues like financial management, debt, social media, peer pressure, and bullying among young individuals.
