Halve van Oostvoorne

The Halve van Oostvoorne is an annual running event in Oostvoorne, a village in South Holland near the Dutch coast. The main race is a half marathon of 21.1 km, with shorter options including 10 English miles, 8 km, and youth races of 2 km and 1 km, catering to participants from beginners to experienced runners. The course winds through local woods, dunes, and along the coastline, offering North Sea views at several points. It is not a completely flat Dutch road race; runners will encounter level stretches and hillier sections through the dunes. Drink stations are provided on the route and at the finish, alongside chip timing, changing rooms, post-run massage, and ample parking.
