Heuvelrugloop Maarn

Heuvelrugloop Maarn is a June forest race held in Maarn, Utrecht, with its start point near Raadhuislaan 39. Runners can select from multiple distances; recent events featured 5 km, 10 km, and 16.1 km, and past editions also included 4.2 km, 10 km, and a half marathon. The route follows paved roads and paths within the forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, incorporating elevation changes that add difficulty compared to a flat city race. The event is managed by Stichting Heuvelrugloop Maarn and is a component of the Heuvelrug Loop Challenge, a local series comprising other races in the region. It attracts approximately 1,000 participants and is supported by over 120 volunteers.
