Lauwersmeer Najaarsrun 2026

The Lauwersmeer Najaarstocht begins and ends in Lauwersoog, located by the Staatsbosbeheer activity centre at the entrance to Lauwersmeer National Park. This autumn trail run and walking event offers routes of 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and a half marathon. Stichting 40Mijl is the organizer, providing the same distance options for both runners and walkers. The routes traverse the Lauwersmeer area along unpaved paths, featuring open nature and a tranquil national park environment instead of urban streets. Shorter distances are available for beginners, while the 15 km or half marathon can be tackled by experienced runners and walkers.
