ODVS andersomtocht, powered by SVDO Tourbuffels

The ODVS andersomtocht is a mountain-bike event in Hellendoorn. It starts and finishes at Hofmansweide on Hofmanstraat. The ride takes place in August, with cycling between 10:00 and 18:00. Participants can choose between 20 km and 40 km routes. The name "andersomtocht" translates to "the other way round," as SVDO Tourbuffels reverses the purple and green MTB routes for this event. This reversed configuration alters the local trails. Ascents transform into descents, and singletracks offer a new challenge. A steep downhill section near the stut becomes a climb that might require some riders to dismount. The event is part of Heldersfees, integrating the finish with the festival's atmosphere. A craft beer bar is available for participants to relax and discuss their experience of the reversed route.
