Oegema Logistics+ Bissinghrun 2026

The Oegema Logistics+ Bissinghrun is an evening road race held in Ommen, starting and finishing in the town center near the Varsernerdijk and Voormars. Organized by athletics club ACO van Elderen, it takes place just before the Ommer Bissingh festivities, integrating it into the town’s local calendar. Participants can select from three distances: 1.60 km for youth, 8.00 km, and a certified 16.10 km, which is the 10-mile race. The event welcomes a wide range of participants, including young runners, adults, club athletes, and casual runners, allowing everyone to compete at their own pace. The entry limit is 1,000 participants, and on-site registration is typically permitted if spots remain. ACO van Elderen also provides preparation clinics, guided by Nick Marsman, a multiple Dutch champion, offering training plans, technique instruction, posture advice, and fitness guidance prior to the race.
