Omloop van Empel

Omloop van Empel begins at Asmunt 3 in Empel, a village in Brabant, Netherlands, and takes place in June as a recreational road race. It provides adult distances of approximately 5 km, 10 km, and a longer option of 15 to 16 km, alongside children’s races. The event is structured for families, local runners, colleagues, and individuals aiming for a personal best, not exclusively for competitive club racers. The event is included in the SummerCityRuns series and will hold its tenth edition. Participants utilize the facilities at Sociaal Cultureel Centrum D’n As, collect bibs for their chosen distance, and receive chip timing via MyLaps. All finishers are awarded a medal. The schedule features a podium opening before the children’s races, followed by music and refreshments post-run.
