Prevox Startbaan-loop

The Prevox Startbaan-loop is a monthly track run at AV Startbaan in Amstelveen, held on the first Sunday of each month. Participants select 1, 3, or 5 kilometers on the Startbaan athletics track, with a field limited to 50 runners. The 1 km distance begins first, suitable for children or less experienced runners, followed shortly by the longer distances for those seeking to monitor speed and fitness. Electronic timing captures finish and lap times, positioning the event as a structured monthly fitness assessment rather than a large road race. The entry fee is low, coffee or tea is provided for longer races, and 1 km participants receive a certificate and a treat. The series originated from a concept to offer local runners a consistent monthly benchmark, with AV Startbaan's collaboration with PREVOX intended to maintain this regular event.
