The Reakt-Brijderloop is a recreational performance run where participants cover either 5 or 10 kilometers together. It is built around shared participation: people in recovery from addiction, people living with mental health conditions, and anyone who simply enjoys going out for a run all attend the same event.
Para-athletes and people with physical disabilities are welcome, so the field is broader than a standard local road race. Runners from Running Blind also attend each edition, adding a regular group of visually impaired athletes and guides to the start line.
