Reigerboscrossloop 2026

The Reigerboscrossloop is a local cross-country race held in Oranjewoud, beginning on Kon. Julianaweg close to Parkhotel Tjaarda. Participants can select between a 3 km or 6 km distance. The course is suitable for spikes, indicating it is a genuine off-road winter race, not a road race with a park segment. The race is included in AV Heerenveen’s Winter Competition series. The organizing club is affiliated with Atletiekunie, the Dutch athletics federation. Non-AV Heerenveen members may participate, but the participant limit is 250 to maintain a local and manageable scale. Timing is managed using AV Heerenveen shoe tags, fastened to the laces.
