RUNFORESTRUN Indian Summer 2026

RUNFORESTRUN Indian Summer is a trail race in Gasselte, Drenthe, with routes through the Balloërveld and Gasterse Duinen within Drentsche Aa National Park. It offers 12 km and 27 km distances, and is part of the Indian Summer Ultra event. The field is capped at 600 runners, making it a relatively small race. The course features off-road running through heath, sand, and forest in a protected Drenthe landscape. Men and women can enter either distance, with the longer race starting shortly before the shorter one. RUNFORESTRUN organizes the event, providing parking, changing rooms, showers, first aid, an AED, and a supervised cloakroom; late entry is not offered.
